You do not need to know how to draw for this fun workshop. If you're interested in the Goddess aspect--or in less tacky words, consider Women as Conscious Creatures--come and play with us!
You may take one workshop, or the whole series, producing a series of mixed media paintings. Paintings are done on a revolutionary surface--tarpaper-- which will be provided--for this topic the bigger the better ;-) !
Please bring your acrylic painting gear, plus lots of collage material, tissue paper, house paint; be creative with yr supplies! No toxic, smelly or hazardous materials!
We will explore seemingly contradictory aspects of the Goddess
-The Goddess as the Future, vs the Goddess as the Past
-The Goddess as Body, Vs. the Goddess as Spirit
-The Goddess as a Nurturer, Vs the Goddess as Warrior
-The Goddes as a Child Vs. the Goddess as a Mother
-The Sensual Goddess and the Power of Emotions
-The Goddess and The Sacrifice-Witch Past Lives
-Two sides of the Goddess: Create and Destroy
-The Goddess as an Omnipotent Power- You as the Goddess
